ENGAGEMENTS

Why I love them:

This is the time to get to know and feel comfortable with each other’s styles, preferences, and personalities. Engagement shoots allow us to find the poses we love, and sometimes the ones we want to steer clear of on the wedding day! I always say to treat this like a date night. It should be fun, relaxed, and totally about the two of you. Without the stress and pressure of a wedding day, we can really take our time, get gorgeous photos, and practice for what the photography will be like on the big day!

What you can expect:

When booked as part of a wedding package, the engagement session is complementary as I so strongly believe in the power and importance of this session ahead of your wedding day. I usually suggest two outfits – one more fancy and one more relaxed. These typically take 1-2 hours so we have time to get comfortable. Because this is about your relationship, we can pick a location that really shows who the two of you are together!

Why I love them:

I feel honored to be a part of such an important and exciting moment in couples’ lives. I love all the details, the celebration, the excitement, and the gathering of the family. Weddings are filled with so much hope, nostalgia and connection. And I love having a part in being able to capture that for generations to come. 

What you can expect:

Planning and consultation ahead of time, complimentary engagement shoot, rehearsal participation when appropriate, completing the details photos the day before when appropriate, time day of, and a fast turn around time of 4-6 weeks for the gallery to be complete.
